The Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreat is an invitation to discover the joy of being quiet. To remove yourself from everyday distractions, peel away layers of the ego, and find the peace within.
If you are yearning to go beyond your everyday reality, to quiet your mind and connect to the deepest part of yourself, join us for this Silent Meditation Retreat. We designed this retreat to guide you to an intimate understanding of what meditation is so you can experience the inner personal transformation it kindles.
It’s a chance for you to give yourself a profound gift: Silence. In that silence, you can begin to perceive the peaceful and eternal core of your being, the source of all inspiration, love, and beauty—the Spiritual Heart.
Our experienced facilitators share wisdom and inspiration from a variety of spiritual traditions and will serve as your spiritual mentors and support. They also hold an explicit awareness about historical and current ways these teachings have been inaccessible to many people and offer diverse access points to support participants’ abilities to understand and receive the teachings. Meditation and other techniques are taught step-by-step with the opportunity to deepen your practice throughout the retreat.
But a silent meditation retreat isn’t about a technique or bit of knowledge. It isn’t about finding something that’s missing. It’s a process of opening to the part of you that is beyond all limitations. When you connect with that inner realm, it will infuse your entire life with its Love.

Our New Years’ Silent Retreat will be held at The Sacred Waters Retreat Center in Union, Washington.
Our intimate weekend on the Hood Canal will include up to 28 guests with options for single or shared rooms, or RV camping. The Sacred Waters Center for Restoration and Retreat is an inclusive community rooted in rest and renewal, where every being is affirmed, all spiritual paths are honored, and the Earth herself is our healing teacher and guide.
Sacred Waters is an affirming inter-spiritual call to rest and human-ecological renewal. We are at home in our common union, honoring our inherent wholeness, and unfolding together within the practice of tenderness. Guided by the great love which holds us all, the soft pulse of tree roots, and the quiet tides that move through stillness and wild spaces, we offer inclusive welcome and a warm bowl of soup, remembering that when what is hard meets what is holy, healing flows outward into the world.

Hridaya Northwest began offering silent retreats in Washington state in 2017. Since then, we have continued to lead silent retreats in the Pacific Northwest and are honored to support seekers in diving into their spiritual path through the profound experience of silence.
We teach the path of the Spiritual Heart inspired by Hridaya Yoga. Our retreats include daily spiritual teachings and practices to awaken towards the truth of your being: the Heart. When you connect with that inner realm, it will infuse your entire life with its Love.
Our experienced facilitators share wisdom and inspiration from a variety of esoteric spiritual traditions. They also hold an explicit awareness about how oppression, patriarchy, colonization, racism and capitalism have kept these teachings inaccessible to so many people, and offer many access points to understand and receive this ancient and modern embodied wisdom and liberation.
